Enphana is local-first: the current App may maintain an optional Enphana account for Premium identity, but it does not maintain a cloud copy of your wellness entries in the current release. This policy explains how to remove optional account data, remove data from your device, and what to check afterward.
1. Delete an optional Enphana account
In the App, go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This deletes the Enphana account identity and authentication data held by Supabase, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or enforcement reasons. It does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, delete independent records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, or automatically delete local SQLite data or exported files.
2. Delete active App data
In the App, go to Settings → Reset Local Data. Choose all data or the categories you want to remove, type DELETE, and confirm.
Available categories include outcomes/reflections, nutrition, experiments, discovery topics, activity, and sleep. This removes the selected active content from Enphana's local database on that device. The App will normally restart after a full reset.
3. Delete local recovery backups
Before a reset, restore, or database migration, Enphana can create a local recovery backup. A reset may therefore remove the active database while leaving a recovery copy on the device.
To remove those copies, go to Settings → Local Backups and choose Delete this backup for each backup, or Delete all local backups. Manual backups remain until you delete them. The App keeps a limited set of recent automatic recovery backups locally; delete them manually if you need immediate removal.
4. Delete exported files
Exports are JSON files that can contain sensitive health and wellness information. The App cannot delete an export after you have saved or shared it outside the App.
Delete exports from your device's Files/downloads location and from any recipient, cloud drive, email, messaging app, or other destination to which you sent them. Check the recipient's retention and trash/recycle-bin behavior.
5. Disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect
Disconnecting a connected platform or revoking permission prevents future imports; it does not automatically remove information already imported into Enphana.
To stop future access:
- use Settings → Manage Connected Apps in Enphana; and/or
- revoke Enphana's permissions in Apple Health, Health Connect, or your device settings.
To remove previously imported sleep or activity information from Enphana, delete the corresponding data category through Settings → Reset Local Data.
6. Delete a single topic or item
You can delete certain individual items in the App. Discovery topics may remain recoverable for up to 30 days before permanent purge. Use the full reset process if you want to remove the relevant active data from the local database immediately, and delete any recovery backups as described above.
7. Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling Enphana normally removes the App and its local sandboxed data from the device, subject to your operating system, device backups, and platform behavior. It may not remove:
- files you exported or shared elsewhere;
- data held in device-level, cloud, or computer backups; or
- purchase records and subscription information held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
Cancel a paid subscription separately through the applicable app store.
8. Need help?
Because the current App keeps content locally and does not maintain a cloud copy of your content, Enphana usually cannot remotely delete or retrieve your device content. If the in-App controls do not work, contact privacy@colyden.com and include your device type, App version, and a description of the issue. Do not email us sensitive health entries unless we specifically ask for them through a secure process.
9. Requests, timing, and appeals
We may verify your control of an optional account before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days; if an applicable law permits additional time, we will notify you, explain the reason, and provide an updated timeline. If we deny a request about information Colyden controls, you may appeal by replying with the subject line Privacy Appeal. For consumer-health-data rights, see the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
